KENNEY, DIANE
KENNEY, DIANE
COLORADO
I have made high temp, atmospheric fired clay for many years. I am now taking  time to really explore surfaces in terra cotta, using color freely, pushing limits, taking risks, trying things I have never tried before, using a lot of brushes and odd tools for making marks. I am taking a painterly approach to the clay surface.

I have been playing with texture, imagery, color and layered surfaces and, in the process, I have discovered how much I love to paint and draw.
