Fired three times; twice at cone 03 (bisque and glaze) and once at cone 017 (china paint).
The glaze is an altered form of the old Higby 1-2-3- raku glaze with about 3% copper carb. The dots are a combination of commercial underglazes and other studio-mixed glazes. The china paints are the now-discontinued AMACO Overglaze decorating colors. All the deco is painted on bisqued terracotta that was brushed with white slip at the time of making.
