Designed by architect Michael Graves in 1990, the round tray is part of a group of products designed in the 80's and 90's by the architect. This was the first group of products by an American designer to be included in the Alessi catalog. It opened the way for the playful design style that subsequently characterized the 90's, and thanks to an inspired mix of post-modern and pop idioms, it has become one of the intenationally recognized icons of the 80'es. Body is in 18/10 stainless steel with handles in PA.

Born in Indianapolis, Michael Graves taught architecture in Princeton since 1962. His architectural works include the Portland Building and the Humana Building, the extension of the Whitney Museum of American Art, and the Newark Museum. He created the best-selling 9093 kettle for Alessi. Michael Graves died in 2015.

Dimensions: 18.75 x 18.75 x 2.5 inches
